1. Who's who
Expand Education ("we", "us") provides The Business of Longevity Academy through education.expand.health.
By applying, enrolling, signing in, or paying for a programme, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What we provide
The Academy
An application-only cohort programme on the physiology of sustained leadership. Each cohort runs to a defined schedule (number of modules, live sessions, async pre-work, alumni access). The exact specification of each programme is on its course page.
What we do not provide
This is not medical care. The Academy is education. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We do not replace your physician.
Nothing on this site is medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician for clinical decisions, especially before changing medication, supplementation, or significant lifestyle factors.
3. Application and admission
- We review every application personally. Acceptance is at our discretion based on cohort balance and fit, not on a numerical scoring scheme.
- If we accept your application, you'll receive a "confirm your seat" email. Your seat is held for seven days after acceptance unless we agree otherwise.
- If we decline your application, we'll tell you. You can apply again for a future cohort.
4. Pricing and payment
- Pricing is in GBP, VAT exclusive. UK VAT is added at checkout and is reclaimable by UK VAT-registered businesses.
- Payment is in full on seat confirmation. Card via Stripe or bank transfer.
- We can invoice in EUR or USD on request.
- Instalment plans are available on written request before checkout.
5. Refunds, deferral and withdrawal
Up to 14 days before cohort start. Full refund or full deferral to a future cohort — your choice.
Within 14 days of cohort start. 50% credit toward a future cohort. No cash refunds at this stage.
After the programme has begun. No withdrawals or refunds. We are flexible on genuine medical or family emergencies — write to hello@expand.health.
6. What we expect from you
- Honest application. Don't misrepresent your role, company, or circumstances. We may revoke a seat if you do.
- Respectful cohort behaviour. Live sessions and async channels are confidential between cohort members. Don't record sessions privately. Don't share peers' contributions outside the cohort.
- One seat per person. Don't share your login or substitute another person to attend in your place.
- No commercial misuse. Don't extract or resell the curriculum, the platform, or peer contributions.
- Live attendance, where possible. Sessions are recorded but the peer dialogue is the actual product.
7. Intellectual property
What's ours
The curriculum, slide decks, frameworks, written materials, recordings, brand assets, and platform code remain the intellectual property of Expand Education. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning during and after the cohort.
What you create
Your assignment submissions, written reflections, and playbook remain yours. By submitting them, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised excerpts to improve the curriculum — never attributed to you without explicit consent.
Quoting and sharing
Short quotes for review or commentary are fine under fair-dealing rules. Anything beyond that needs written permission from hello@expand.health.
8. Certificates
On completion you receive a digital certificate of completion signed by your faculty. The certificate is from Expand Education. It is not, at this time, accredited by an external body (we're pursuing CIPD accreditation for the B2B HR programmes specifically). The certificate's value is the cohort network and the playbook, not the regulator badge.
9. Privacy and data
Our handling of personal data is described in detail in the privacy policy. Summary: we collect application + account + payment data, we don't collect your health or biomarker data, we don't share participant-level data with sponsoring companies, we don't sell anything to anyone.
10. Limitation of liability
We deliver the programme to the standard a senior leader would reasonably expect from professional executive education. We do not warrant any specific health outcome, performance outcome, or business outcome. Longevity is a probability function, not a guarantee.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Academy is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Termination
We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms (especially the confidentiality, IP, or no-commercial-misuse clauses). If we terminate without cause mid-programme, we'll refund the unconsumed portion of your fee pro rata.
You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your account, write to hello@expand.health.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change the substance of these terms in a way that affects you, we'll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first. If that fails, the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
14. Contact
For anything about these terms: hello@expand.health with subject line prefix [Terms].
